Naturally sparkling. Nothing added, nothing filtered out.

Sorso is kombucha made the way pét-nat is made: a wild ferment, finished in the bottle, so the fizz is its own and the haze is honest. Small batches, brewed and bottled in South London. No force-carbonation, no pasteurisation, no filtration.

The layer at the bottom is the culture that made your drink — the fondo. Pour it clear, or roll the bottle gently and drink it cloudy. Both are correct.

Keep refrigerated — always cold, never shaken.

Help

How do I pay?
By bank transfer, straight from your banking app. Place your order, send it to us with the email button on the confirmation page, then transfer the total using your order reference. No card details anywhere.
Why is there sediment at the bottom?
That's the fondo — the live culture that made your drink. Pour it clear, or roll the bottle gently and drink it cloudy. Both are correct.
Why does it say refrigerate before opening?
It's naturally carbonated and alive. Opened warm, it can foam over; opened cold, it behaves.
Is it alcoholic?
Less than 0.5% ABV, which is classed as non-alcoholic in the UK. Like all raw kombucha, it carries a trace of alcohol from fermentation.
Does it contain caffeine?
A little — it's brewed on black and green tea. Roughly a weak cup of tea per glass.
Is it vegan?
Yes. No animal ingredients, and made without gluten-containing ingredients.
How long does a bottle keep?
Sealed and refrigerated, until the date on the bottle. Once opened, drink within 5 days.
Do you deliver outside the UK?
Not yet — UK delivery only for now.

Shipping

We deliver within the UK only, by tracked courier, in 2–3 working days. Delivery is £4.95, and free on orders over £45.

Bottles travel cold-packed and protected. Refrigerate them as soon as they arrive.

Collection is free from South London — choose it at checkout and we'll email you when your order is ready, with the address and times.

Orders dispatch once your bank transfer arrives — usually the next working day, Monday to Thursday, so live bottles never sit in transit over a weekend.

If anything arrives damaged, email burp@sipsorso.com within 48 hours with a photo and we'll replace or refund it, delivery included.

Returns and refunds

Sorso is a perishable, refrigerated product, so once an order has been dispatched we can't accept change-of-mind returns — the usual 14-day cancellation right doesn't apply to perishable goods.

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or isn't what you ordered, tell us within 48 hours at burp@sipsorso.com with a photo. We'll send replacements or refund you in full, including delivery.

Refunds are made by bank transfer back to the account that paid, normally within 5 working days.

None of this affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Privacy

When you place an order we collect your name, email, and delivery address. We use them to fulfil the order, deliver it, and reply if you write to us — nothing else.

We never see or store card details — there are none. You pay by bank transfer, directly from your bank to ours, and all we see is the payment and your order reference.

We only email you about your order. No marketing unless you ask for it.

Cookies: this site sets exactly one — an essential cookie that remembers you've dismissed the cookie notice. No analytics, no advertising, no third-party tracking. If that ever changes, we'll ask first.

We keep order information only as long as needed for deliveries and accounting. You can ask to see, correct, or delete your data at any time: burp@sipsorso.com.

Terms

Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Delivery is within the UK only. Payment is by bank transfer.

Sorso is perishable — see the returns page for how refunds and replacements work.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
